We are bored with God because our heartsq do not hunger for God, seek God, love God

It's a loathsome tale, yet I'm proof of God's love. He seeks us out to be His very own. My life had been so horrible, but it all changed when I surrendered to Him. It's the most important decision you'll ever make, and I pray you will soon understand the power of God's unconditional love.

As long as you continue to seek Him, son, your love will continue to grow. And as you express your love for Him through obedience, He'll reveal more of himself to you.

At the core of who we are, we crave the acceptance that comes from being loved. To satisfy this longing we will either be graspers of God's love or grabbers for people's love.

Insecurities should not prompt me to get things from others that I should be getting from God. Rather they should prompt me to give to others so I can point them to God.

God lives. He is near. He is real. He is not only aware of us but cares for us. He is our Father. He is accessible to all who will seek Him.

Love is a gift from God, who is love. We can seek a gift and we can receive a gift, but we do not perform for a gift. So, when we read passages of Scripture like those above, we must remember that the call to us is not to do as much as it is to receive.

The Holy Spirit eagerly reveals His mysteries to all who are truly hungry. He makes us hungry in the first place and reminds us that our hunger cannot be satisfied except by receiving the love of God. Take your current level of hunger and ask Him to increase it even as He satisfies it. He will do it.

To find love I must enter into the sanctuary where it is hidden, which is the mystery of God.

Trying to know God and serve Him before we come to love Him is exhausting.
