A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way.

To lead any way other than by example, we send a fuzzy picture of leadership to others. If we work on improving ourselves first and make that our primary mission, then others are more likely to follow.

Create your world around your work. Create your work around your life. Let other people help you shape it.

It is an eternal truth that men receive more pay for their ABILITY TO GET OTHERS TO PERFORM, than they could possibly earn by their own efforts.

God wants us to be a good example to others who are observing us.

I used to pray that God would surround them with people who were good influences. When my eyes began to open, I realized my prayers better adjust to greater reality. The truth is, godly influences are few. I pray for them to know what to do with bad influences and hope they become the good influences!

You live your life and it ends quite quickly and all you can do with it is pass it on decently to someone else. Whether directly or indirectly, behave decently to other people.

The goal of life is not to have our lives mean something to ourselves. The goal of life is to have our lives mean something to others.

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

So how does one become a person whom other people want to be around? Let me make a suggestion. Ask yourself this question every day: 'What is it about me that other people would change if they could?

You get one life. Live it in a way that it inspires someone.

Persuasion is better than force.
