God has brought His Church into the wilderness. Spiritually, America is a dry and thirsty land. Our time of testing is at hand. God once again watches to see whether His people will seek His face or His hand. His face represents His character and nature; it denotes a relationship. His hand represents His provision and power. If you seek only His hand, you may not recognize His face. But if you know the face, you will know His hand.

While I don't have to leave home to find God's oasis, I do have to search for it, pursuing God in prayer and trusting Him to take care of me when all other hope is gone. He promised that "If...you seek the Lord your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul" (Deuteronomy 4:29).

Torah says that if you seek Yahweh your God you will find Him if you look for Him with all your heart and soul.

Time and a hundred daily distractions can slowly turn us away from God before we even realize it's happening. But I urge you to keep reading your Bible. Jesus said if you seek Him you will find Him, if you search for Him with all your heart. He's with us everywhere we go, Anna. He's not just in a church building.

Seeking with all of your heart requires more than just the routine Christian good girl checklist.

God made us to crave—to desire eagerly, want greatly, and long for Him.

Yes, God, there are some who seek You today! I understand it is possible to experience You; therefore, I want that more than anything else. I will seek to see You, hear You, know You, and follow hard after You in every part of my day.

We were made to crave— long for, want greatly, desire eagerly, and beg for— God. Only God.

To find God, you must look with all your heart. To remain present to God, you must remain present to your heart. To hear his voice, you must listen with your heart. To love him, you must love with all your heart. You cannot be the person God meant you to be, and you cannot live the life he meant you to live, unless you live from the heart.

I am looking for my heart.

The LORD is with you when you are with him. If you seek him,he will be found by you. (2 Chronicles 15:2)
