Appreciation - Learn to give flowers while people are still living

You may have made a lot of wrong choices, but you've also made a lot of choices that were right. Focus on your good qualities. Focus on your victories. Get off the treadmill of guilt.

Everyone needs to be valued. Everyone needs to be appreciated. Every person needs that blessing.

The apostle Paul says, "Dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: kindness and compassion.

Where is the love that will overlook a person's faults?

Are you writing off someone because they don't believe, they're not making good decisions, they're against what you stand for? Start sowing seeds of love, showing mercy instead of judgment.

It's easy to write someone off, but don't. God waited on you; you have to wait on them. Everyone is on a journey. Where they are now is not where they're going to be in ten years. Give them room to change.

It's not always the big things that keep us from God's best; it's the small things. How we treat people matters. You can't be harsh, contentious, hard to get along with, and reach your potential. Be kind, loving, respectful.

Don't allow someone to treat you poorly just because you love them. And don't let the ugly in others kill the beauty in you.

Oftentimes the reason we don't forgive is because what the other person did was wrong. They were clearly at fault. But when you forgive, you're not excusing their behavior. You're not lessening the offense; you're simply getting the poison out of you. You have to forgive so you can be free.
