There are two words that you should use frequently in your youth: sorry and thank-you. Use the first one as often as possible, so that on your death bed all that you have to say to your friends is thank-you!.

Forgiveness is a gift

Never tell your problems to anyone...20% don't care and the other 80% are glad you have them.

I follow three rules: Do the right thing, do the best you can, and always show people you care. You've got to make a sincere attempt to have the right goals to begin with, then go after them with appropriate effort, and remember that you can't really achieve anything great without the help of others.

Getting shot hurts. Still my fear was growing because no matter how hard I tried to breath it seemed I was getting less & less air. I focused on that tiled ceiling and prayed. But I realized I couldn't ask for Gods help while at the same time I felt hatred for the mixed up young man who had shot me. Isn't that the meaning of the lost sheep? We are all Gods children & therefore equally beloved by him. I began to pray for his soul and that he would find his way back to the fold.

The more you care, the stronger you can be.

It takes a great deal of character strength to apologize quickly out of one's heart rather than out of pity.

Jesus Himself stresses that only those who grant forgiveness will receive it.

The success of every woman should be the inspiration to another. We should raise each other up. Make sure you're very courageous: be strong, be extremely kind, and above all be humble.

Our culture says that ruthless competition is the key to success. Jesus says that ruthless compassion is the purpose of our journey.

Friends don't get jealous of each other or begrudge the other for finding success. They celebrate every victory together.

A man's dignity isn't measured by the people he has around him when he's at the peak of his success, but by his ability not to forget those who helped him when his need was greatest.
