Jesus pointed at the Father and said that's life, to know that God who is absolutely perfect and good and loving; and it's an abundant life to trust and obey Him. Jesus knew the Father was the one person we could have a relationship with who wouldn't let us down. And that is the key thing necessary for having a good life: a relationship with Jesus and with God the Father.

Yes, a guide can help point the way to your own sense of self and your purpose in life. No, a guide can't replace your own search. When you are in your car driving through town, signposts can tell you where each road goes, but only you can turn the steering wheel.

The real business of life, however, is to find out who you really are.

The love you seek is seeking you at this moment. Your longing, your deep fantasies about being loved are mere shadows of the melting sweetness that makes spirit want to love you.

I came here searching for something, Dad. I didn't find what I'd expected, but I found what I needed: peace. I needed peace.

Every person, on coming to the knowledge of himself, is not only urged to seek God, but is also led as by the hand to find Him.
