Father God, according to Your Word, without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to You must believe that You exist and that You reward those who earnestly seek You. (Heb. 11:6) Lord, I want to please You. Build faith in me so my life will honor the life of Your Son.

relationship distant, or close and personal, or somewhere in the middle? If you enjoy a close relationship with God, this study will be an opportunity to deepen that relationship. I deeply desire for you to say when you turn the last page, "And I thought I knew Him and loved Him when I first began." If you don't have a close and familiar relationship with God, don't despair!

The one who draws near to Him must believe that He exists and rewards those who seek Him. Hebrews 11:6

The word 'seek' means to go in search of, try to discover, try to acquire. It requires an active, assertive approach to life.

For centuries mankind has been on an incredible journey, taking him across every generation and through every conceivable experience in his search for God.

At this crucial point in world history, everyone should be seeking an answer to the question, "What is God like?" Everyone should ask it, and everyone should make very sure of the answer . . . The Bible says, ". . . God has shown it to them" [Romans 1:19 NKJV].

I have not known of too many people who found Christ on their deathbeds. When we come to Christ in our youth, a life is saved. When we come in old age, a soul is salvaged and life eternal is assured; but the opportunity to live a life for Christ has been lost.

I am convinced that when a man sincerely searches for God with all his heart, God will reveal Himself in some way.

There will come a time when people hungering for the truth will seek it where it is supposedly disseminated, such as books and churches, but they will not hear the Word of the Lord. Instead of receiving a message to satisfy their spiritual longings, they will hear a sermon on some current political or social problem, or a sermonette on art and literature. And so they wander from one place to another, going from hope to despair, and eventually giving up.

How then do I seek Thee, O Lord? For when I seek Thee, my God, I seek a happy life. I will seek Thee, that my soul may live. For my body liveth by my soul; and my soul by Thee.
