But to enjoy him we must know him. Seeing is savoring. If he remains a blurry, vague fog, we may be intrigued for a season. But we will not be stunned with joy, as when the fog clears and you find yourself on the brink of some vast precipice.

Here was an absolutely compelling road sign. Stay on the road of objective truth - there is objective being and objective value. Stay on the road. There is Truth. There is a Point and Purpose and Essence to it all. Keep searching. You will find it.

If our effort to know God more clearly is not an effort to love him more dearly, it will be fatal.

Search for Me as for hidden treasure. I will be found by you.

Seek with enough conviction aforethought and ye shall find.

To fall in love with God is the greatest romance; to seek him the greatest adventure; to find him, the greatest human achievement.

Don't fall in love with the blessings. Fall in love with the Blessor. Seek first the Kingdom & God will reward you!

One cannot simply read the Bible, like other books. One must be prepared really to enquire of it. Only thus will it reveal itself. Only if we expect from it the ultimate answer, shall we receive it. That is because in the Bible God speaks to us. And one cannot simply think about God in one's own strength, one has to enquire of him. Only if we seek him, will he answer us.
