God wants His people to walk in wisdom so they don't have to fall into misery and pain before they come to their senses, which may sometimes come too late. It is better to live wisely and not need continuous miracles, than to live foolishly and always need a miracle to get out of trouble.

Self-discipline is the most important quality in any life. Do you know what self-discipline is? It is keeping ourselves going in the right direction without someone making us do so.

Prayer is talking to God about all kinds of things. You would never expect to have a good relationship with a human being if you never spoke to that person or took time to listen to him or her, would you? Then why would you think you could enjoy a growing relationship with God if you never spoke or listened to Him?

We are wise to use moderation in all things, meaning to allow ourselves just enough but not too much of anything. This helps us live balanced lives and keeps the doors of our lives closed to the enemy.

Trust in Him If it's not already here, your next change is on the way. Build your trust in God now by preparing your heart through spending time in His Word and coming to Him in prayer.
