When we know our stories and make sense of what has happened, we get connected to the larger story of our lives and its meaning. We become more resilient, we are able to handle stress, and we heal.

Forgiveness is something that we are often asked to grant and very few of us ever have the roadmap of how to get from the pain that we have experienced to being able to forgive someone.

We must not only speak about forgiveness and reconciliation, we must act on these principles.

Forgiveness is an absolute necessity for continued human existence.
