I have had the privilege of preaching the Gospel on every continent in most of the countries of the world, and I have found that when I present the simple message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, with authority, quoting from the very Word of God—He takes that message and drives it supernaturally into the human heart.

Nowhere in Mark 16:15—"Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" [KJV] — nor in any similar Scripture did Christ command us to go only into the Western or capitalist world. Nowhere did He say to exclude the Communist world.

We are told in Scripture that there will be signs pointing toward the return of the Lord. I believe that we see those signs in the world today. I believe that the coming of the Lord is near.

When I preach—no matter where it is in the world—I can always count on five areas of human need that afflict all peoples. Emptiness, loneliness, guilt, fear of death, deep-seated insecurity.

A new world is coming . . . The paradise that man lost will be regained . . . One day we will live in a brand-new world.

Exercise and proper eating habits are very important, since the Bible says that the body is God's holy temple, but I don't think that superbodies equate with committed Christian discipleship. Some of the greatest saints I've known have been those with physical infirmities.

But in Heaven we will have total peace. We will be completely changed when we get to Heaven—and so, too, will those we couldn't get along with while on earth. If God can make the lion and the lamb lie down together, we can trust Him to take care of our fractured relationships as we enter our heavenly home.

Long after you and I are gone, God will still be at work—and many of the things we prayed for will finally come to pass.

Nothing will drive us to our knees quicker than trouble.
